What's going on this weekend?

The Cézanne exhibit started this month and goes through July at the Palazzo Strozzi. It’s certainly different from any of the Italian Renaissance art you’ve seen here so far! I’d see it soon, before the crowds of tourist season get too bad.

Another exhibition from now until April, the 1st:

Opening hours:
Week days from 15.00 to 20.00
Friday from 15.00 to 23.00
Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 to 20.00
Admission fee:
€ 8,00 full price
€ 4,00 reduced price
How to reach it: all town buses stop at Piazza della Stazione (Santa Maria Novella train station). Since they are just 50 metres from the Santa Maria Novella train station, Firenze Fiera's venues are within walking distance of any bus stop.

If you are looking for a nice dinner with live jazz music enjoy Golden View Open bar (opened in April 2002). The Restaurant offers an unmatched view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Torre di Arnolfo, with the Galleria degli Uffizi on the right and the Corridoio Vasariano opposite the river Arno.
Suffused candle light and delicatessen accompanied with live Jazz. A unique view in the heart of Florence!
I have been there several times. Every time I went the dinner was delicious, the place was lovely and the waiters very kind..
