Last friday, the 7th of December, a gigantic Christmas Tree (12 m) was placed in the heart of Florence, in Piazza Repubblica to symbolize the Florentine Christmas. An enormous Christmas tree, 12 meters tall, was placed in the center of the city to celebrate the holiday season. The Christmas tree will remain in the Piazza throughout the holidays, until January and symbolizes Christmas in Florence.2007-12-13
